The Lead Developer is one of the most respected engineering leadership conferences in the World. And for the first time ever, we're coming to San Francisco on 7-8 October 2020!
About the conference The Lead Developer is an international series of conferences designed around the pain points of technical leaders. Our first event took place in 2015 in London and we’ve since launched conferences in New York, Austin, Berlin and San Francisco - alongside meetups in Tokyo and Edinburgh - and over five years, thousands of senior engineers have come to The Lead Developer to network, learn from their peers, and supercharge the work they’re doing.
Before you submit Before you send in your proposal, head over to our website and read our guidelines. There you'll learn what we provide you if your talk is chosen, what makes a successful submission, and the kinds of themes and topics that we're interested in.
Deadlines The CFP will close on 23 March 2020 at midnight PST. You will be notified no later than six weeks after this date if you’re invited to speak and everyone will hear back from us! We're more than happy to offer feedback on any submissions that aren't selected. If you’ve purchased a ticket in the meantime, we will refund it if you’re invited as a speaker. The questions we ask are not shared beyond the programming committee.
